Ourika valley and Setti Fatma waterfalls excursion

An hour from Marrakech, the Ourika valley follows a river lined with Berber villages at the foot of the Atlas. Your driver first stops at a garden of organically grown aromatic and medicinal plants.

You are then welcomed into a Berber home for mint tea and a glimpse of everyday life in the valley. On Mondays and Fridays the weekly market livens up the road.

At the end of the valley, in Setti Fatma, a local guide walks you up to the waterfalls; Barbary macaques often appear along the way. Lunch by the water is optional, and there is no fixed return time.
