Your driver picks you up at 9 am and heads south out of Marrakech. In under an hour the plain gives way to the first green valleys of the High Atlas.

Depending on the day, you stop at the market in Tahanaout (Tuesday) or Asni (Saturday), where the mountain villages come to sell vegetables, spices and tools. A short mule ride is possible in Asni.

In Imlil, at the foot of Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, a local mountain guide takes you walking between terraced villages, walnut trees and waterfalls. Lunch with a view of the peaks is optional, then you return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Which day is best for the markets?

Tahanaout holds its market on Tuesday and Asni on Saturday. On other days the road is just as beautiful and the programme adapts.

Is the hike in Imlil difficult?

No, it suits anyone in reasonable shape and the guide sets the pace for the group. Good walking shoes are enough.

How does booking work?

Send us the date, pick-up point and number of passengers, through the form or on WhatsApp. We confirm the price in writing, then send you your driver’s name and number.

What if my plans change?

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time.

How much luggage can we bring?

In the Mercedes Vito, each passenger (up to 7) can bring one suitcase and one cabin bag. For a surfboard, golf clubs or a pushchair, just let us know when you book.
